Broilers are a high-octane breed of chicken requiring a very different feed nutrient profile than their laying hen sisters. For this reason, we opted for our own custom organic, non-GMO, non-medicated feed ration and have been extremely pleased with the results.

We want our chickens to forage but that’s not always possible in the upper midwest. This custom, non-GMO feed ration is what we’ve found to give us enough supplemental nutrition for our laying ladies just what they need.
